Hit Bakerz gives away selected beats. In place of a purchase price, the collective takes 50% of the royalties generated by the song you release on the beat.

Free beat terms
- Free to download. Beats marked free cost nothing upfront. No subscription, no invoice, no card details.
- Hit Bakerz receives 50% of the royalties generated by any song released on a free beat. That is the whole exchange.
- Credit the production. Name Hit Bakerz or the individual producer in your release title or description.
- Some uses need a different licence. Sync, advertising, or any release where you must keep all royalties — licence the beat instead.
Free means free to take, not royalty free. Review the terms attached to a beat before you release music on it.

What the free licence covers
You may record a song on the beat and release it commercially — streaming platforms, digital stores, your own channels. You keep authorship of your lyrics and your performance.
Hit Bakerz receives 50% of the royalties that release generates, as the production side of the song. The producer is registered accordingly and credited on the release.
You must credit the production in the title or description of the release — “prod. Hit Bakerz”, or the individual producer's name.
You may not resell, redistribute or re-licence the instrumental itself, or register the beat as your own composition.

When you need a paid licence
Buy a licence rather than taking the free route when the release needs a clean royalty position: a label deal or distribution agreement where a share complicates the split sheet, a sync or advertising placement, or any project where you must retain all royalties.
Licence tiers, what each includes — MP3, WAV, trackouts, exclusivity — and their prices are listed per beat in the store. They differ from beat to beat, so check the beat you want rather than assuming a standard tier.

Are Hit Bakerz beats royalty free?
The free beats are not royalty free. "Free" refers to the download cost, not to the rights: releasing a song on a free Hit Bakerz beat means sharing 50% of that song's royalties with the collective. Paid licences in the store carry their own terms and are the route to take if you need to keep all royalties.
Can I use a free beat commercially?
A free download covers a commercial release under the royalty-share terms: you may put the song on streaming platforms and earn from it, and Hit Bakerz receives 50% of the royalties. Some uses — sync placements, advertising, or a release where you need to retain all royalties — need a separate licence. Check the beat's terms in the store before releasing.
How should I credit Hit Bakerz?
Credit the producer in the title or description of your release, in the form "prod. Hit Bakerz" or "prod. [producer name]". Crediting is required under the free terms and is the main way other artists find the catalogue.
Do free beats come with trackouts or stems?
A free download is the mixed MP3 or WAV of the instrumental, depending on what the producer has enabled for that beat. Trackouts and stems are attached to the higher licence tiers in the store rather than the free tier. If you need stems for mixing, check what the beat's licence options include.
Can I buy a beat exclusively?
Exclusive rights are handled per beat in the store, where availability and price are listed. An exclusive purchase is a different arrangement from the free royalty-share model — reach out through the store if you want to discuss a specific beat.
How does the Hit Bakerz free beat model work?
You download a free beat, record your song and release it. Hit Bakerz takes no upfront payment. In exchange, the collective receives 50% of the royalties the resulting song generates, and the producer is credited. If you would rather keep 100% of your royalties, the same beat can be licensed for an upfront fee in the store.
